SLES NDIS Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Young Australians who are differently-abled but have some work capacity may be qualified to receive School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) funding in their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan.
SLES NDIS Participants will generally receive support for about three days every week for at least 48 weeks.
The NDIS Provider will usually assess each Participant for individualised program, so actual days and hours of support will vary.
Under the NDIS Service, a Provider could be an individual, an organisation, or a business authorised to deliver funded services such as SLES.
Providers registered with NDIS can use the term NDIS registered Provider, which means they have completed and fulfilled all quality and safety standards observed by the Australian government.
